Max kinkel biography

As co-creator of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), Bob Kinkel ’79 continues to spread messages through song — this time one of hope for the people of Ukraine.

“Unbreakable” was written in 2014 by recording artist/songwriter/producer Dina Fanai (aka Avalona) and writer/producer Andrey “Jandy” Prudnikov following the Russian takeover of Crimea. The song was never released, but when the war escalated to an unthinkable level, Kinkel became passionate about sharing it. We asked him to share his thoughts on this endeavor. 

First off, tell us about how you became involved with this project?

Dina and I know each other from TSO, where she was a singer then head of artist development. We are partners in all aspects of life: we live, write, and produce together and were married in May. I was involved in the project from the beginning; we had brought Jandy over from Ukraine to work with us on some projects, and this track evolved during that period.

    The new year got off to an entertaining start: ABOUT LUIS officially opened in German cinemas on January 23. Two days later, on January 24 and 25, Lucia Chiarla’s film starring Max Riemelt and Natalia Rudziewicz was screened at the prestigious Max Ophüls Film Award. And even before that, fans had the opportunity to see the film on the big screen: The filmmakers went on a cinema tour, stopping in Aschersleben (January 18), Potsdam (January 20), Berlin (January 21), Hamburg (January 23), Karlsruhe (January 26), Heidelberg (January 27), and Munich (January 28), among others.

    At the beginning of March, Max Riemelt began filming the movie „Etwas ganz besonderes“ („Something very special“). Under the direction of Eva Trabisch, he was in front of the camera in one of the leading roles for the comedy in Thuringia, Hamburg and Munich. Other leading roles are played by Frida Honemann, Eva Löbau, Gina Henkel, Peter René Lüdicke and Rahel Ohm.

    WTOC (1360 AM) is a radio station licensed to Newton, New Jersey. Owned by Centro Biblico of NJ, Inc., the station broadcasts a Spanish-language Christian radio format. Until August 17, 2011, they aired an oldies music format with songs from the 1960s and 1970s along with a small number of oldies from 1955 to 1964 and a small number of hits from the 1980s, a full-time affiliate of Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel from Citadel Media.[2] The station was owned by Clear Channel Communications from 2001 until 2011.
