Peter depietro biography

PETER DePIETRO Full Professor of New Media; First Official Executive Director of UC's Emeriti Center; Winner, International Award for Excellence Peter DePietro's research and teaching focus on new media and emerging technologies. He has previously taught at New York University (NYU), Quinnipiac University, New School University's Parsons School of Design, New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), Pratt Institute, and at Ludwig Maxmilians Universitat in Munich, Germany. He has been Visiting Scholar at NYU/Emerging Media Institute/ITP within Tisch School of the Arts. DePietro is the Founding Director of the Digital Innovation Lab: Education, Arts and Technology Incubator. He was also the first official Executive Director of UC's Emeriti Center. DePietro is the author of the academic book Transforming Education with New Media, published by Peter Lang International Academic Publishers (New York, Bern, Berlin, Brussels, Oxford, Vienna).
