When it was already certain that Sreten Jocić, better known as Joca Amsterdam, after serving a three-year prison sentence in the Netherlands, would be handed over to our authorities, inspector Jan de Wis arrived from the Ministry of Justice in the Netherlands to visit the Special Department of the District Court in Belgrade in charge of suppression of organized crime (Special Court). Above all, the Dutchman was interested in whether Jocić would be convicted. Of course, there is no definite answer to such a question until the eventual process is concluded with a final verdict, but it would not surprise anyone, familiar with the case, to be acquitted due to lack of evidence or as a cooperating witness.

Sreten Jocić is suspected of hiring two police officers, Bojan Milosavljević and Nenad Dragišić, to kill a certain Goran Marjanović aka Goksi Bombaš, which they did on July 18, 1995, killing Bombaš's girlfriend Marija Đorđević in the Dambi cafe on Zvezdara. About a month ago, I was drinking coffee with my friend Matilda who plays the guitar in a girl pop/rock band Luminize. We haven’t seen each other for a year because two years ago she moved to The Hague and she is currently kicking ass with her band all around Netherlands and Europe. These days, a new guest should arrive at the Central Prison: Sreten Jocić, better known to the relevant public as Joca Amsterdam (born on October 24, 1962 in Smederevska Palanka), in the nineties of the last century he permanently resided in the Netherlands, and later - under a false identity - in Bulgaria, until his arrest and deportation to the Netherlands. There is a long legend behind Joc Amsterdam, but also insufficient evidence for it; otherwise he would rot in the prisons of several European countries. It seems that the Dutch are also tired of dealing with him, although there was a lot of talk about him, apart from what was said in other countries. It's as if the Dutch have decided to fight the misery and extradite him here, where at least there is a clear case against him, so let him be tried and imprisoned here...
